Posted by Kaizar CampwalaWhile Eric Bohlert's article hits hard, and deservedly, at the recent, self inflicted misfortunes of Fox News, his report fails to remind us of just who the bosses are at Fox News and whence they originated back in the 90's when FN first began to appear on TV. This reminder will serve well in understanding the sly Fox. Roger Ailes was one of Lee Atwater's close associates, his media man, back in the early 90's when Atwater was the RNC chief and first launched the campaign in Arkansas to destroy the presidency of Bill Clinton - - and, in part, succeeded since the Clinton administration never really recovered entirely during and after Clinton's impeachment. It was the classic Karl Rove, James Bond novel style evil, criminal plot to destroy our government. Karl Rove was Lee Atwater's right hand man. Under Bush, that part HAS succeeded, thanks again to Karl Rove with the eager aid of Rupert Murdoch, Roger Ailes, and their stable of White House trained seals. But lately, the FOXes on FN have been making outrageous and obvious fools of themselves since the Bush administration has been such a historic disaster. Fox News was DESIGNED as a media arm of the Republican Party dirty tricks and treasonous, criminal activities juggerenaut that ultimately failed to destroy Clinton, but paved the way for George W. Bush. In that respect FN has been quite successful. Now, with Bush flushing himself and his corrupt, incompetent political party down the bowl, Fox News, the political counterpart of the old TV Bong Show, is swirling down the bowl with them.
