Good journalism at its best - the only show worth watching on the lie emitting appliance known as television.

The examples of the right rich corporate media putting a sensationalist tone on minor stories and ignoring issues to put negative spins into their trivializing coverage is made very clear by the cuts included in the Daily show. The corporate media is so bad, it is laugh provoking.

Right on as usual, Stewart skewers the media for their hysterical coverage and outright lies. I'd read about these accusations. But this is the first time I'd seen the clips. Illuminating to say the least. And I can't say I disagree with Bill Clinton. When I worked for a presidential campaign in Iowa in 04, I was struck by the obvious fact that the media was covering the story they wanted, not the one that was right in front of them. Facts had absolutely nothing to do with it. The only thing I question is why this was classified under mainstream media.

Informative. With video clips, Jon Stewart shows the candidates' actual words and the amplificatory cycle of media reaction to them which is what is transmitted to the public.

So Big Media must make a big deal about nothing, and the Daily Show depicts this perfectly, and its sooo funny.
