It's a well balanced story which tries for a rational discussion of the 'immigration problem'. And I suppose the comments about who runs the economies can't really be documented, even though a lot of us 'know' that they're true. The solution proposed sounds sensible. What's sad is that this is not a publication of wide circulation, and that the media which do have 'the public's' ear or eye will never pursue such a story - it's easier for them to just quote the candidates' comments. Contexts - the historic and repeated failures of our and Canada's governments to offer sanctuary to desperate refugees from holocausts, genocides, and massacres because of fear that they'd take jobs away from citizens. What ever happened to that lamp beside the golden door?
