Obama offers himself as a catalyst by which disenchanted Americans can overcome two decades of vicious partisanship, energize our democracy, and restore faith in government. Clinton presents politics as the art of the possible, with change coming incrementally through good governance, a skill that she has honed in her career as advocate, First Lady, and senator. I enjoyed reading this story. The writer's style is engaging. However, it was a bit one sided. When I began reading the story, I thought the writer was going to reveal something new and refereshing. The headline and the beginning paragraph were so strong, but as I continued reading, I failed to see the point the author initially set out to make. Nevertheless, I managed to read the entire 7 pages. This is a testament of Greg Packer's talent to create an engaging article that compels the reader to not stop reading until the article is finished, regardless of one's opinion of the content. Excellent writing.
