This is kind of interesting. It's short, and it doesn't really investigate the root causes, but it does draw in information from a few sources in the short space available.

It seems to me that cosmetic surgeries that enhance youthfulness and improve professional status are still in, whereas the deeper, more emotionally heavy ones have gone down. I wish this article had dug deeper into the motivations. It's not JUST money; it's priorities.
