This opinion piece is short on specific evidence, but nevertheless paints a narrative for current tension in Kenya that is easily understood and seemingly fair. Klopp suggests neither party is innocent in the history of exploiting ethnic/communal tensions for political gain. Klopp's impressive credentials add extra weight to her assessment.
