Novak's treasonous lies in reports on the Valerie Plame outing are outed by Parry, to counter the right wing deification or their pundit. The WaPo gets negative credit for featuring him and quoting his lies.

Much as I hate to speak ill of the dead, (my condolences to his family), the late Mr. Novak's integrity seems, at best, suspect, and the Plame controversy is but a classic example of such.
