Do we deserve our military?

In all of American history, only a handful of generals -- Grant and Sherman in the Civil War, and Douglas MacArthur with the Inchon landing in the Korean War -- have turned a war around in so short a time as has Gen. I would not call this journalism. It is propaganda, and not very clever either, as it is larded with cliched brickbats at straw men in a futile attempt to bolster his baseless enthusiasms. A political attack dog, pure and simple.
