"Remember Those in Need"

So on this Christmas Day, my thoughts are with the Siegelmans and the Teels. But they stand as symbols of a new phenomenon: political prisoners on American soil. My hope is that in the coming year, Americans will wake up to the injustices practiced in their name. Maybe we will again have a Department of Justice that places a value on justice ahead of doing the political dirty work of its partisan masters. Full Story »

This another opinion article that dose not fit well into the ratings. Becaus eit is opinon some will say it is fair and others will strongly disagree. By nature opinion articles are more limited in sources. Overall it performs it's function quite well by encouraging the reader to consider an issue.

This is an eye opener. The Christmas hook is a good one to underscore just how far down the rabbit hole our government has descended, but there is no magical holiday ending.

This opinion piece is short on facts and lacks even the basic sourcing for it to be judged good journalism. It provides no evidence as to why the two persons featured in the story were convicted. One of the two is not yet even in prison, which makes the piece overblown. The author makes the unjustified assumption that the White House was involved, which makes no sense given that much bigger issues that occupy the President and his advisors.
