It seems that the author got most of the quotes directly from sources. Additionally, this is a timely news piece where the reader can get a broad perspective on an issue, but with a twist or edge.

I don't think airlines are designed to make a profit. Frankly, I think airliners should become government entities again. Somethings are just not meant to turn a profit.
