The strength of this story is that Waddington contacted and reported all of the campaigns and the offices of other Senators who said they would be supporting a filibuster, if necessary, to strip the FISA bill of telecommunications immunity. She also explains how the filibuster would proceed and reports on blog and campaign support to transmit comments to the Senator for inclusion if he has to take the floor. The weakness is that in quoting so extensively from Mr. Dodd's campaign, it strays from news to adulation. This would not have been the case if she had quoted someone else who is criticizing his efforts.
