Perhaps it is useful to be reminded of all the fear and panic that gripped the nation immediately after 9/11. Few politicians dared resist it, and now we can see more clearly how much momentum the bandwagon had. As that momentum runs down, do we look forward or look back?

"One U S official says - -", "two U S officials said - - ". Right ! Got it ! We are supposed to believe what oh, so reliable "U S officials" said about something that took place just after the historical shock of 9/11 and from an administration that has told us nothing but lies from the day that the 2000 presidential campaign started and after an entire decade of lies, near politically fatal attacks on the Democratic president, fake rumors, fake accusations, and the deep complicity of the MSM in amplifying all the Republican Party crud.
