Sleek audio slideshow on Afghan women, some struggling under and some against the country's violent patriarchy. Big, beautiful images enhance the audio component, which was informative but could have been delivered with more *umph*.

Informative slide show about the living conditions of Afghan women, struggling for freedom after years of repression from the Taliban and age-old traditions. This short narrated report features compelling photos of women in different parts of the country, pointing to some of the challenges they face, as well as to the progress they've made in recent years. Good factual overview, which is enhanced by the multimedia presentation and the helpful context provided by the author.
