Excellent report (of NIE key points, Bush's news conference) and analysis, which doesn't fall into the trap of oversimplifying or trying to force the information into a predetermined story framework. Following the information is dramatic enough. Can it be concluded that Iran is no longer thinking of creating atomic weapons? no! But there's also no evidence (as the AIEA reminds us) that Iran has ever had such a weapons program. First of three reports by the same analysis: No Iranian bomb Iranian reaction to Bush Iran, media and the candidates. Excellent!

This analysis 'conversation' is balanced, factual, and fair. One point of criticism is that the level of discussion probably requires substantial knowledge of the Iranian situation.

I cannot get enough of reports like this that come directly from those on the ground and in theater. This report is a classic example of what you get when the guy who knows the most relays the information directly to you without massaging from editors and owners. Unvarnished facts with a little opinion based on experiance. I must admit that when the original broadcast Real News Network went off the air, I was extremely dissapointed. Fortunately, the online version has proven to be a good replacement.
