Bringing abuse of power in the Senate to light is very important. Advise and Consent continues to be abused due to bad Senate Rules.

I am so sick and tired of Senators using the right of Advise and Consent for dozens of other reasons and holding up the process of confirmation. It is way past time for the Senate to wake up ans serve the Country not ham string its President, this holding nominations up is a crock.

If there is any common sense in the Senate (the self-proclaimed greatest deliberative body), the honorable members from Kansas should be forced to yield to the Army’s and the nation’s overriding need. They have already gotten their parochial headlines.

Whats wrong with the other 98 senators in that they are not doing anything either, like putting pressure on those that hold things up for no good reason.
