Push to ban corporal punishment in NT schools

The Australian Education Union is calling on the Northern Territory Government to explicitly ban corporal punishment in schools. Although corporal punishment is not used in Territory schools, there is no legislation that specifically bans it. The Full Story »

No, This barely can qualify as the basics of news. It needs to go in depth and have more stand points to improve what it is.

From all the information it tells me, I figure that if they want to ban it, then they should do as they please. It will be on their heads if that turns out negative.
