"…a combination of U.S. intelligence, Special Forces, and air capabilities, supplemented by Afghan militias and regular forces, holds promise for keeping al Qaeda and the Taliban under continuing strain. "

I thought the aforementioned combination of forces was going to be McChrystal’s approach. Did I miss something?
