An important opinion piece on Benazir Bhutto that is long overdue for the main stream media in the West. The writer challenges, from personal experiences and observations, the conventional storyline that Bhutto is a fighter for democracy in Pakistan. The writer provides some much needed historical background of Bhutto, and reminds us that Bhutto, not so long ago, was granted immunity from prosecution by Pervez Musharraf himself so that she could return to Pakistan.
