What a shock! And here I thought the Baker Electric from Detroit had the market sewed up. Perhaps there is an upcoming 2010 model of the Stanley Steamer coming around the bend. Whatever it is, we better getting moving faster or time wull run out. And what about windpower? I recall seeing a square-rigged VW convertible whooshing (?) along the highway leading into Road America back in the 1960s - It even passed Briggs Cunningham in his Cadillac - and he was doing at least 50-60 MPH!
