The militia movement is clearly growing again and deserves very close attention," said Mark Potok, director of the SPLC's Intelligence Project. "At the height of the movement in the 1990s, 168 people were murdered in the bombing of Oklahoma City's federal building. We may not be at that point yet, but as one law enforcement official told us, the only thing missing is a spark."

According the SPLC, the militia movement is extremely dangerous and a threat to this nation. It is imperative that the nation as a whole becomes more aware of the amoral and anomie behavioral patterns of the new militia movement resurgent. we as a nation have placed a monumental emphasis on ostracizing and developing apathy toward the militia movement which is a horrific menace to this nation. If this nation will begin to up hold the virtues of this nation which we hold dear to our hearts, hate groups such as the militia movement will not be able to survive. If these hate groups continue to gain momentum, they could create such an implosion that coulld threaten to rip apart the fabric of this great nation.
