France is a western secular country. If I took my wife to Saudi Arabia or the UAE, she would accept the culture of wearing a veil even though she is opposed on principle. Thousands o muslims are comfortable with the French law. Only those described as fundamentalists have a problem. The job opportunities for me are very good in the middle east but my wife has decided that we are not going.
