This opinion piece offers the slant of the author (and the paper that published it). The idea that President Bush has somehow compromised our civil liberties is a total fiction. Residents of the U.S. have more civil liberties now than in any previous wartime. The author for some strange reason leaves out his calls for impeachment of Franklin Roosevelt, whose actions make his complaints in this distorted piece trivial in comparison. Good BDS; bad journalism; clueless about history.
