The story is important, but the coverage is mundane. There is no interview with those in Israel who oppose the cuts, nor with those who support it. There is no fleshing out of any reasons behind the cuts other than those stated. There is no examination of the government argument that it won't cause a humanitarian crisis, or that it is not the collective punishment forbidden by the UN. There is no examination of the discrepancy between the first denial of action and the later acknowledgement. This story alerts us to a development, but raises more questons in my mind than it answers.

The story follows the usual MSN formula. Action results in victims. feel sorry for the victims. Story is not too balanced it has little reference to the fact that Gaza is controlled by Hamas a wholly owned subsidiary of that Iran. And the agenda of Hamas is to destroy Israel.
