This article requires a VERY close reading. Yon is saying a great deal more than just "The Main-Stream Media Have Got It All Wrong." He says that the war in Iraq is not as bad as it's being made out to be. He is NOT saying that all is well. But I had to read the article carefully to get that. Not sure why, as Yon is usually above "spin" and vagueness, but there were several times when I thought, " Hold on a minute, I need to go over this again." I read/support him because he seems straight-forward, but that belief in his veracity is an act of faith and desperation on my part as the rest of reporting on the war is either highly partisan or just dumb. There is no way for me to know who is right as his voice, and the Main-Stream media's, are the only voices out there.
