Sarah Palin falsely claims Barack Obama runs a 'death panel'

We have read all 1,000-plus pages of the Democratic bill and examined versions in various committees. There is no panel in any version of the health care bills in Congress that judges a person's "level of productivity in society" to determine whether they are "worthy" of health care. Full Story »

Palin gets it wrong again as this article points out.

This is the most important kind of vital journalism that there can be; that of stopping false media stories that are full of lies with factual counter statement(s).

I hope that someone stops Palin, now we know why she stepped down as governor, so she could go on a false statement run for the extreme right. They would have impeached her had she said this under the color of being a Governor.

A bit long winded but pretty accurate

The problem with Sarah Palin is at some time in the future she might actually get something right and she will be ignored because of all of her previous ignorant comments. Conspiracy theorists must love her. One shudders to think she actually could have become the president of the United States.

Her statements would be funny if I didn't think she really believes what she says. Oh well, they say sunlight is the best disinfectant, so the more she talks, the more her party and the right-wing extremists have to lose, and as a by-product, more fodder for Saturday Night Live & Letterman. By the way, Mrs. Palin, it's Down's Syndrome, not Down Syndrome. I am happily in my 31st year of working with folks with mental health and devevopmental disability issues. Elmer
