Whatever last shred of legitimacy the junta had among its own citizens has vanished. This opinion piece written by the first lady highlights growing international pressure on Burma. The piece is weak on discussing challenges to overthrowing the regime, and significantly, omits discussion of China and Thailand, Burma's major trading partners. Nevertheless, a decent piece of writing by an important person.
