British pullout in Iraq leaves Basra in chaos

Amatzia Baram, an Israeli expert on Iraq, said recently the impending British pullout will force the U.S. to move troops into the area to keep the road open and guard oil fields, even as it is attempting to draw down troops elsewhere in the country.
