Months after the House Judiciary Committee passed contempt resolutions against the White House chief of staff and former counsel for ignoring committee subpoenas, it's still unclear when, or if, Democrats will hold a vote on the full floor. Why? politics...as usual!

The importance of this article is the question of reasserting any kind of authority on the part of the legislature, which is neccessary to uphold the rule of law. If congress wants higher ratings, they should rein in the executive dictatorship.

Paul Kiel reports on the story that has all but gone away due to the failure of Congress to continue oversight of the Justice Department. What ever happened to the U.S. Attorneys Investigation? Kiel can't get a straight answer.
