The unanswered question that comes to mind is who are the Democrats that defected and why. How can the D's make the R's feel the pain when they have members of their own parted that failed go support the measure. The story also failed to note that vote of 265 to 159, which of course shows that tghere would need to be 25 more votes to overcome a veto--more R's are needed even if all the D's had voted for it.
