Appropriate since Puerto Rico is on the spotlight these days and definitely the Bronx with Sonia Sotomayor. Jeff Cox's column is a nice description of this Californian Puerto Rican restaurant. Cox does a very good description of introducing the native Puerto Rican food and it compares to other ethnic foods for better understanding of more popular ethnic food.
