Links to an IPS story I had not seen before about Fallon. the input of Fallon, concerned with a much larger region than Petraeus, seems like an important perspective. Interesting.

Yes, this is a blog. And before a reviewer asks why 'anyone' would post this report, let me say that it tells it as it is. Military families knew days ago what the Admiral said to Bush in the meeting at the WH. I feel sure that the mainstream news knew of the meeting and knew what was said. It was not widely reported in the mainstream news. Why? It seems that the mainstream news organizations are 'going along to get along' with Bush. Again, why?

this is tendentious propaganda, not journalism...and not even good propaganda at that. i can devise a computer program to reproduce the ravings of the netroots.
