Behavioral Science Turns to Dogs for Answers

Dogs are so geared toward communication with people that it seems to run in their genes. For a still-unpublished study, Kaminski and her fellow researchers repeated the pointing experiment with six-week-old puppies. The "studies," none of which have apparently been published because there is only one mention of an unpublished study, do not appear to be randomized at all. It's an interesting human interest story, but don't claim that it's science until there is at least one randomized study that is published in a reputable scientific journal.
