Despite having been written by a knowledgeable source and containing specific information, this piece falls short on at least two counts. 1) There's no new insight here. Hedges brings no new information, let alone nuance, to the Iran debate 2) His nightmare scenario is just that- an extreme scenario meant to illicit fear in the reader, rather than provide a rational, qualified set of what ifs.
