GE Muzzles Olbermann about Fox

Though one can agree that the Olbermann-O’Reilly sniping was getting out of hand – and that there are far more important matters facing the country – the larger message is that the Left’s enthusiasm at having a few news shows reflecting a liberal outlook survives only at the forbearance of GE executives.

The article overlooks the fact that Mr. Olbermann specifically stated that he was going to stop mentioning "fixed news" after the murder of Dr. Tiller because of their complicity in that act.

The observations about GE's "commitment" to liberal views only being a bottom line strategy is probably correct (unfortunately).
