Spotted with what I think is disinformation, this story, I suppose, attempts to condemn the anti-Christian violence in Gojra in language that will appeal to Pakistani Muslim patriots. See quotes. Original? Yes. Good journalism? Not really.

Just as an example, the only prosperous and peaceful time that Jewish people can find in their history is when they were a minority under the Muslim rule.

Seriously?

The foreign or domestic thugs attacked a village in Gojra, Pakistan and took the innocent lives of Christian minority community members and then destroyed their homes. Pakistanis of all persuasions have faced terror and i many cases, it was later proved that the attacks came from foreign soil. It is not beyond comprehension that the same people who attacked the Wagah Police station, also attacked the Christians. These alleged extremists claimed to commit these inhumane acts and atrocities as a response to blasphemy of the Holy Quran.

The fact that the Muslims ruled India for more than a thousand years and still ended up as a minority is a testimony of the religious freedom and harmony that was available to non-Muslims of the sub-continent. Riots against the minorities have been a characteristic of Hindus in India. The riots against minorities can not and must not be tolerated in Pakistan. Such an act is against the Islamic teachings.
