The author has worked with the Texas Public Policy Foundation, a conservative free market think-hole noted for corporate funding and action resulting in banning an environmental textbook from Texas schools.
The Obama team has come to the conclusion that we should tax small businesses, large employers and the rich. That won’t work because the health-care recipients will lose their jobs as businesses can no longer afford their employees and the wealthy flee.
Has that happened in the rest of the civilized world that has universal government-backed health care?
If free market health care worked well there wouldn't be a health care crisis. Rightists never mention the gap in administrative costs between Medicare at 4% and private health at 25% to 35 %.
