Aquaculture sounds good until you look into the full set of implications. Penned fish get sick and either infect wild fish or get antibiotics that get into all other wild organisms, as do commonly used growth hormones. Tamed, week pen fish escape and pollute the gene pool of wild species. Caution is in order.
