Hoping for racism to completely take over the repugnican party so they remain a minority overlooks the possibility that they may get enough money together to advertize and elect their candidates anyway, again. A higher hope would be to reduce all racism, and put out of business those media outlets that foster racism.

The Obama people are always talking about how they don’t want the perfect to become the enemy of the good, and that often seems to suggest that they have no notion of the bad and the ugly.
