We should revere the work of those still reporting in that security mess, for giving us views alternative to the Bush spun propaganda of the invader.

No it doesn't show the big picture but we get plenty of that elsewhere. But apparently it does show part of the day to day reality for Iraquis of which we read more or less nothing in the mainstream media and which naturally western journalists cannot adequately convey. Important reading.

A very sad situation reported well by the blogger. It is understandable when our reporters are snuggled in the green zone and get most of their information second and third hand. Must be almost impossible for an objective look and report for a local!
