McCain takes aim at earmarks

He says money for pork projects such as a planned Iowa rain forest could have been used for bridge safety inspections.

Arizona Republican John McCain suggested Saturday that congressional earmarks such as $48 million for a proposed indoor rain forest near Pella contributed to last week's collapse of the highway bridge in Minneapolis.
