The article gives the politics of support for single payer or it's poor cousin the public option. The reasons for a public option are omitted. Sanders' proposed bill is not mentioned. The bill for Medicare Part E (Everybody) allowing buy-in is not mentioned. But still a good piece on an important topic.

Health insurance companies are such a big and corrupt and expensive oligopoly, that they are going to have to be removed from the picture or heavily regulated in order to manage costs. The present bill mandates more (not all) people be covered, but fails to regulate cost increases.
