Iran’s Khatami Says Protestors’ Trial a Sham; Hearings Continue

Iran’s former president Mohammad Ali Khatami, a backer of the opposition movement, denounced as a sham the trial of protestors detained after the country’s disputed re-election of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, as the hearings continued for a second day.
