But Rep. Rob Bishop, R-Utah, who heads a House subcommittee over public lands, says those numbers are bunk and blasted Interior for playing politics with America’s energy sector.
NewsTrust Rating: 2.4 average (not enough reviews) - See Review » - Review It Visit NewsTrust | About | Sign Up | Disclaimer

With that kind of spending power, even in the recession grandparents are clearly a key force driving the broader economy.
NewsTrust Rating: 3.8 average (not enough reviews) - See Reviews » - Review It Visit NewsTrust | About | Sign Up | Disclaimer

If you’re out of a job, that’s small comfort. Ditto if you are upside down in your mortgage and facing foreclosure. Nevertheless, it’s good news that the U.S. economy stopped shrinking 15 months ago and has been growing ever since. The trouble is that it is growing at a painfully slow pace, not fast enough to generate the new jobs that many Americans desperately need. The number of people coming into the country illegally every year also has shrunk by about two-thirds. About 850,000 were arriving every year early in this decade, compared to about 300,000 now. At least two more workers are suspected.

“These tactics by these rogue employees to go out and single out individuals and their families and, in some cases, falsely accusing people of an illegal status is deplorable and is counterproductive to the issue that ought to be the focus,” Gov. Gary Herbert said at a press conference.

Two employees were escorted from their state offices and have been put on administrative leave pending completion of the full investigation, said DWS executive director Kristen Cox. She said it is uncertain if their leave would be unpaid.
NewsTrust Rating: 3.7 average - 3 Reviews » - Review It Visit NewsTrust | About | Sign Up | Disclaimer
