Excellent story, which doesnt just do "he claimed, she claimed."

Typical pablum - printing a press release from McCain, editing it a bit to be "fair" - but nothing in depth. The quotes from McCain are good, because the show him as the dick he is.

This comment is typical of any on this site about Obama/Hillary: "But during her speech in New York on Tuesday, Clinton offered scant indication that she was fully committed, at this juncture, to getting behind the Illinois Democrat." This is hogwash, and simply not true. The Hill has publicly stated (as Obama never has) that she would support the ticket all out.

This piece actually states that "McWar" has changed his position. But mostly it is rehash for anyone who spends more than 1/2 hour per day keeping up.

Politico is a right wing propaganda site, of course. The story was interesting, particularly to me, who wont read Drudge on a bet. I was glad to have the information. As the daily howler often says, tho, lotsa "mind-reading" in this one!
