The argument for "let the free market decide" and allow ISP's to charge more for greater bandwidth usage is essentially the same arguement that the health insurance industry used to set up excluding "preexisting conditions" and we all know where that lead us. The small guy will be frozen out because of his "preexisting condition" of not having the money to compete with the wealthy. Net neutrality prevents tierred access by social class. Non net neutrality opens up segregation and discrimination of the little guy in the end.

The author is one of the most respected journalists on issue concerning our food distribution system. He was the main spokesman on the movie Food Inc. He wrote the book "In Search of Food".

Finally we can address the cause of so much unhealthy behavior in the USA.

This story scares the dickens out of me. If this is the truth and Alan Greenspan says it all about oil then we are in very deep trouble as a country. The only alternative I see is to develop as rapidly as possible alternatives to get away from Middle East oil.

I think the writer had a dead line and made up a plausible story. This is all unfounded speculation and could be entirely a figment of the writers imagination.

While interesting the only news it seemed to me was the new type of mortgage company. Now that is the beginning of a solution that will incentivize the developers to change the way they construct buildings--barely above code.

I don't trust almost everything about this article. I don't know any of the sources which may be my fault and it seems to rely on rumor and unidentified sources. The Headline said "it was just rumors a couple of days ago..." As far as I am concerned it still is a rumor.

The story is the best description I have read about this product. It conveys more of the excitement than any other printed article. For the other 80% go to the Apple, Inc. Home Page and view the Steve Jobs Keynote Address at the Apple Developers Convention. This is truly leap frog technology as was the Mac GUI, the iPOD and now this.

This story quotes direct sources from both Cisco and Apple, Inc. It is a story that will have a major impact on the branding of the new phone from Apple, Inc.

This story apparently relies on that very old Washington DC source called "a leak". The source is not identified. It none-the-less lays out the Democrat strategy of the first 100 hours legislative program they have been promoting since they were elected. We will know the truth of the story this week.

The story is credible because both the writer and source are excellent. The story could have developed the consequences of the dispute. Once again it shows us that the Western economy is tied to unstable sources of energy. The last bullet shows Europe's policy of getting away from Middle Eastern oil but into a relatively unstable source of supply.

This is great critical muckraking journalism. It is not the kind of journalism you will ever see on television where the members on this USDA committee from big agribusiness spend huge money on TV advertisement. This type of story can now only come from an independent, commercial free company like the "The New Standard". It develops the story of big business taking over a regulatory body the American Public needs if we are to know the truth about what we put in our bodies. Bravo for "The New Standard" is reporting this corruption of the government.

As a Gephart supporter in New Hampshire I shifted to John Edward's after Iowa. THis was a fun piece for me to read as I truly admire the Edward's family and their struggles. I like my politicians to have had their souls kicked around a little bit. This story made me want to read what else this reporter will say about each of the candidates. A puff piece but fun.

The writer sought out a lot of information and made substantial links about the imams involved in the story with various organizations. You get the feeling that this tory is not over.

The story writer sought out the major characters & segments of society who would want to be involved in this type of story. Thatcher, Kissinger, the segment of the Chilean population who were tortured as well as the dwindling number who acknowledge supporting him. I was not surprised that Kissinger, who knew what Gen. Pinochet's planned to do and supported his extradition to Chile from Spain. Kissinger, at the time of Pinochet's possible trial in Spain, was afraid of being brought up for International War Crimes. The full story will have to come out in a book.

Yes this is good journalism. It is non partisan and presents the choices available and shows how Bush & Blair clearly have different views from the ISG.

What I liked about this story was the information on the tremendous value of algae as a source for biodiesel feed-stock. I have always been uncomfortable with food products as a biodiesel feed-stock source. I also liked the origin of the information. This could be a major piece of the puzzle towards living off earths income rather than her savings. While the story has the effect of promoting a stock it was the underlying information that I felt was important to bring to the fore.

It helps people know where to place their first dollars and energy towards the idea of living off earths income and not her savings. The NY Times wouldn't publish the story if they didn't feel it was quality Journalism.

The story predates the elections so the quote identifiers are limited but none the less still accurate after the election. There could have been more information about the donut hole being experienced by recipients.
