Vague statements imply that Obama's Gallup 53% approval rating is "close to the bottom" for a newly-elected president. How close? Not stated. Is that for all newly elected Presidents, or just recent ones? Not stated. No source at all -- much less any objective outside source is quoted on his place in his polling compared to other first term Presidents. It states that Jon Corzine is in "severe danger" of defeat, and the article states he is "running even" even though Corzine is currently leading in some current polls by 3 pts, and the momentum in the race is that his opponent is dropping in the polls and he is slowly raising. No pro Obama, or objective voices are quoted, and critics such as Dick Cheney quotes are given two ... More »
They quote internal biased sources -- The Fox SVP of news, Mike Wallace, and then only Democrats -- Donna Brazile and Republican Gergen and collumnist Carr who are disagreeing with the White house tactics. They give no time to any independent voice evaluating the substance of the White house's critique of Fox News journalistic standards.
It not good journalism as it does not fairly represent an objective view of this story or of the criticisms being offered. Having Karl Rove, a Fox Employee, and the Senior VP of Fox News, as the only sources to evaluate and respond to the White House criticism of the network makes this a very shallow and unfair news story.

A good informative and well sourced article on the challenges, successes and missteps of Microsoft in the ever changing digital marketplace...
A basic but factual and well sourced look at the options Obama's team is looking at to combat unemployment.
Most of this article directly quotes an Obama from his weekend radio address and does so accurately. I'd think that this address which i read in full was a far more subtle saber rattling at the Insurance industry than this story makes it out. I think they are accurate that it was a threat, but it was far more of an implied threat in reality.
Yes, it offers a sourced, fair look behind the curtain at Reid's office as he undergoes the task of reconciling the various Senate bills, some of which have and some of which do not have a public option. I feel it gave me good information on where Senator Reid, the key figure in this stage of the process, is leaning in terms of how he will try to reconcile the public option aspect of these bills.

I found it moving, and insightful...
