This article makes the connection between health and education very clear. Until Sub-Saharan Africa solves the HIV/AIDS issue, it cannot fully educate its children.

This article is written by a South African paper, so it does feel a little biased. It takes the stand that the other Bric nations may take advantage of South Africa, when that is not necessarily the case.

This was an interesting article that clearly showed the consequences of a technological society. Historically, mail was the only was to write to someone. Now, through social networking sites, email, etc. the Post Office is not as necessary. Essentially, we are taking jobs from ourselves.

As a US citizen, it is interesting to read about the issues that other countries face in their education system. It seems that around the world, the effectiveness of traditional systems are being questioned.
