The teacher in me really enjoyed reading this article. The article went with the "overworked, underpaid" stigma attached to teaching. The article was an easy read. I think I could introduce this article to my 3rd grade students without intimidating them. I think the journalist presented the facts in a very clear manner. As my peers stated in their responses, the journalist gathered many different viewpoints as to not appear biased. I'm not very familiar with the KIPP charter schools. However, after reading the article I felt encouraged to research them a bit. All in all I would say the article was fair. With all that's going on with the restructuring of schools, as well as the new contract, I believe this article was very relevant.
