This is one of the few stories I've seen that offers details on the maneuvering against the public option by Democrats and the response by supporters of the public option. Most stories just take politicians like Baucus at their word, this one offers some specific criticism of his actual behavior.

Haven't see very much on the public option in other news sources lately so this is an important (and news breaking story). It gives details on the players (although the football analogy gets old, I guess it's that time of year) and addresses how the House and Senate bills may be consolidated. Most sources just give Baucus the lead role without any context.
There are a lot of facts about the levels of coverage being considered by congress. It could use some more examples of why Congress is looking at this aspect of health care because I think many people will get lost in the numbers.
