This is a great investigation article that provides solid facts and informs the public on a issue that is closely connected to their lives. All included facts are presented in an orderly manner, making it easy to comprehend and follow. Valid evidence was present that emphasized the main point of the story. Sources were credible institutions such as the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission, a panel in Congress focused on these types of investigations. Overall, this was effective article that brought news to light that is so often concealed.

The article was an interesting and informative piece on the progression in the white house. Some of the sources were not very clear such as the "white house aide" but for the most part it was credible. The story was unbiased and kept a positive tone throughout. Politico is known to produce strong, factual news stories dealing with politics, so the validity of this story is very likely. I found this article exciting to read because it showed that new ideas and changes will be coming soon, which will hopefully stimulate solutions to the economic issue.

While this story presents valid statistics and numbers, there seems to be a biased opinion on the issue. The projections all come from a negative aspect of the job issue in America. The article seems to place the blame solely on the Obama administration, without presenting other contributing factors such as congress' failure to work under bipartisan efforts. There could have been more sources for information that deal with the job markets in america, to support the argument. Mainly, while the unemployment rates are very true, this article could have also displayed the small but substantial growth in the job market. Those facts included would have leveled out the viewpoints, further creating a unbiased, fair story.
